Sisumina Educational Scholarship
To whom should be paid the educational scholarship?
Permanent residence within the North Western Province and monthly income less than Rs.5000/=
Ø Children receiving Education in Widowed Families.
Ø Children receiving Education in Separated Families.
Ø Children in Families of Mother or Father seriously ill.
Ø Children in Families of Mother or Father seriously in disabled position.
(Scholarships will be granted as under mentioned, to the students who are still in education being selected from the above category families.)
Ø If you are a person who completes the above qualifications, can meet and express the necessity to the Social Service Officer of relevant Divisional Secretary.
Ø From Him / Her could be obtained a Sisumina Application.
Ø Complete the relevant information in that Application.
Ø Recommendation of the Principal of the School Student / Students attached and the G.S.N. of the relevant division.
v To a student from Grade 1 to 9 - Rs. 400/= (Monthly)
v To a student from Grade 10 to 11 - Rs. 1000/= (Monthly)
v To a student from Grade 12 to 13 - Rs. 1000/= (Monthly)
v To a University Student - Rs. 1000/= (Monthly)
v If more than one student in a family the maximum amount could be paid
- Rs. 1500/=
(Payments will be done according to the Circular.)
After the field inspection of the Application had been completed, recommendation of the paying amount will be done by the Social Services Officer of the relevant division.
